My New Shoe

Well here is my new shoe. I believe that is costs around $400 no joke. I guess I have a stress fracture on the top of my foot, the bone above my middle toe. I must have injured it a few weeks ago, that is how long it has been hurting. Then if you continue to walk on it it ends up fracturing the bone hence the name "stress fracture". At lease I don't feel so bad limping around and being in really bad pain. I almost fell on presidents day just trying to walk around my house holding Payten. I saw the podiatrist 3 days later. I just kept thinking it was in my mind and that it would just get better. But apparently it gets worse if not treated. Anyway I get to wear this beauty for 3-5 weeks, I'm hoping for the 3 weeks!

Today we flew the tail wheel to Payson. Payten had not yet seen her great grandpa. She also had not seen nonnie for at least 3 months because she has been in Logan. It was nice to see everyone and of course Payten was an angel!!

First Haircut

Well I am a little depressed. I just gave Payten her first haircut. I admit it needed it but it took me this long to be able to let go. Even though it looked bad it was all I had of my newborn baby. Maybe there are a few of you that can understand. I loved sniffing her hair and feeling it on my nose, it was SO soft! Oh well, she is growing up!

I AM A BIG GIRL NOW!!

Well it is official, Payten is mobile. On February 13th she finally rolled over from her back to her tummy. She did it the other way on Jan 6th. As soon as she did it she looked up at me with a HUGE smile and laughed. I can tell she knew she had found FREEDOM!! She has been out of control rolling ever since. The same day she even started scooting. She sticks her bum straight up in the air and puts her arms straight out and her forehead on the ground and pushed forward with most of the weight on her forehead. Luckily she is already pretty much bald or she might rub a bald spot. It is really cute. I cannot remember but one of my little brothers scooted that way too. I just had to take pictures, and she looked really cute that day in yellow and pink!!

SUPER PAYTEN

BINKY'S

Payten LOVES her Binky's. She just cannot figure out how to get 2 of them in at one time!

We hope Everyone is having a great New years so far. Ours has been wonderful of course! Here are a few recent photos!

Payten is such a happy little girl. As you can see she loves Tippy and Tippy loves her. She tries to get in all the pictures. She loves to go and check on Payten. If Payten is crying and sees Tippy she stops crying and tries to play with her. Tippy is very patient and doesn't even mind those tiny little fingers and nails piercing into her skin when Payten grabs her with that tight baby death grip! The only time Tippy has growled at her is when she is licking her spit up and Payten tries to grab her, she thinks she is interupting her meal I guess. I know, gross huh. Oh well, as long as Payten is happy, and believe me Tippy has eaten MUCH worse!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Our Christmas was Extremely Wonderful. We spent the day with our little Payten. As you can see she got a little spoiled from everyone. Who knew that such a little girl would get so many gifts.

Payten had fun trying to open her gifts with her daddy, I think she just wanted to eat the wrapping paper. Doesn't she look cute in her pink head set for when she flys with her daddy?! Now she won't have to hear the loud engine sounds. We had dinner at about 2:30. Nate, Bethany, Christian, Erica, Shauna, Owen and Drew came over for dinner. Bethany brought yummy home made pies and Shauna brought homemade rolls. We cooked a regular turkey and one in an oil less turkey fryer that we purchased the night before for Linus' Christmas gift. We injected his and but a rub on it. Both were super yummy. We also had potatoes, home made gravy, green beans and cranberry sauce. It was fun having everyone over. This was the first Christmas that we stayed home. It was nice waking up in our own bed and with our little girl. We are SO VERY blessed! We hope every ones Christmas was as special and unforgettable as ours was.

Here is little miss Payten in her Christmas dress that Nonnie (Linus' mom)bought her. She is the MOST beautiful little girl ever! Just look at her. Sorry it is true!! Anyway, I think she looks so grown up in it. She was a little stinker in church today. Tippy got a little jealous and wanted in on the action so I had her sit with Payten. Payten loves looking at her and Tippy is very good with her, kind of like a mother hen. Payten is usually an angel but today she fussed and cried and even screamed at me. I think she has finally had it and wants that tooth to come in NOW! And I have to say "I agree"! She was "little miss fussy" the past couple of days. One cute thing is she is starting to coo now. She wakes up that way and tries to talk all day long. I think she will be a social butterfly:)! I hope you enjoy these cute pictures!

Apparently Payten is not afraid of Santa. Erica and I went to the San Tan Mall on Friday to return some items. I happened to have my camera with me and there was no line to see Santa so it seemed like the perfect opportunity. I gave her to Santa and Erica was next to me and she just started smiling at her. Payten is such a sweet heart. I could not ask for a better baby! OH MAN I LOVE HER!!!

Okay. so Payten is 15 weeks old in this picture. Since she was 8 weeks old she has discovered her tongue and ever since had it out of her mouth. We think this is an appropriate picture so she does not feel out of place.

Christmas Picture 2007

We are very excited to spend this Christmas with little Payten. She has blessed our lives greatly. She is so much fun and is a wonderful baby. We are having fun showing her off to everyone. I am excited to finally get to start our own family traditions for the holidays. It is so much fun being a mom and seeing Linus be a WONDERFUL daddy. She has been well worth 11 years of waiting.
